Route Detours for Happy Trails Parade

Service Notice for September 7, 2024

To make room for the Happy Trails Parade, Street Fair, & Car Show in Apple Valley on Saturday, September 7th, Routes 23, 40, 41, 43, and 47 will not serve the Apple Valley Post Office from the beginning of service to the end of service. Below are the affected stops and routes:

  • Bus Stop #20000 (Apple Valley Post Office): Affecting Routes 23, 40, 41, 43, 47
  • Bus Stop #20088 (Central Rd & Shawnee Rd): Affecting Routes 23, 43
  • Bus Stop #20129 (Outer Hwy 18 North & Navajo Rd): Affecting Routes 40, 41, 47
  • Bus Stop #20138 (Navajo Rd & Ottawa Rd): Affecting Route 43
  • Bus Stop #20139 (Navajo Rd & Powhatan Rd): Affecting Route 43
  • Bus Stop #20153 (Powhatan Rd & Navajo Rd): Affecting Routes 40, 41, 43, 47
  • Bus Stop #20190 (Yucca Loma Rd & Navajo Rd): Affecting Route 47

As well as join in the fun starting at 10 AM with the Happy Trails Parade, as it winds down the scenic Outer Happy Trails Highway with vibrant floats, music, and a true hometown vibe. But the fun doesn’t stop there!

After the parade, head over to James Woody Park & Community Center for the Car Show and Street Fair. Explore classic cars, browse unique street vendors, and enjoy delicious food while soaking in live entertainment. It will be a blast, see ya’ll there!
