Detectives are attempting to identify a suspect involved in an unprovoked attack on a Victor Valley Transit bus driver. The suspect is described as a black male, 25-35 years old, 6’0”, 250 lbs., black hair and brown eyes.
On December 21, 2018, the suspect got on a Victor Valley Transit Bus at Phelan Road and Buttemere Road in Phelan. The suspect stepped outside and punched the driver in the face 6 to 8 times while the driver was still on the ground. The driver suffered serious injuries to his face and head from the assault. At the time of the attack, the suspect was wearing a gray and red Chicago Bulls beanie, black and gray hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants and black tennis shoes with white soles. The suspect claimed to be homeless in the area. He is possibly left handed due to all punches were from his left fist.
