Between October 7th – October 11th, we’re celebrating the Route Refresh service change, by giving you the chance to receive one of our limited edition aluminum water bottles featuring the new VVTA System Map!

How to Win: Each day starting Monday, we’ll be at different locations handing out 40 water bottles to the first passengers who tell us the “Keyword of the Day”.

How to Get the Keyword: Sign up for VVTA Service Alerts by texting “VVTA” to 41411. You’ll receive the keyword and location updates straight to your phone! You can also see the Keyword by downloading the VVTA Mobile App.

Don’t miss out – sign up now and be ready for an opportunity to receive one of these water bottles!

With our Route Refresh System update, we’re adding new bus stops to better serve you! While some poles and signs may take a little time to go up, starting Sunday, October 6th, our VVTA Bus Operators will still pick you up at these new stops. 🙌

It will be a perfect time to explore new routes, enjoy stress-free commutes, and save a few bucks while you’re at it!

Detour Alert for Route 65:

To make room for the City of Victorville Fall Festival on Saturday, October 5th, Route 56 will be detoured all day with the following Stops missed:

Bus Stop#50143 Civic Dr & Seneca Rd

Bus Stop #50223 Kentwood Blvd & Ramona Ave

Help us celebrate California Clean Air Day on Wednesday October 2nd by riding Public Transportation throughout the County of San Bernardino Fare FREE!!

That’s right, VVTA Fixed Routes, County Routes, Route 15, Direct Access and even Micro-Link will be FARE FREE to help make the California air a little cleaner!

To make room for the Hesperia Days Parade, Routes 50, 64, 66, and 68 will be on Detour Saturday, September 21st from the beginning of service until 12 Noon. As a result, the following Stops will be missed:

Due to the on going Bridge Fire and poor air quality, VVTA has made the difficult decision to cancel service on the Route 21P to Pinon Hills and Route 21W to Wrightwood for the remainder of service today.

Rural transit was established by the FTA in 1979, and Rural Transit Day was created in 2019 to appreciate the unique needs of rural passengers and celebrate the hardworking transit agencies that meet their travel needs. Funded by the Caltrans Division of Local Assistance, rural transit agencies in California play a vital role in maintaining the quality of life of rural residents by connecting people to much-needed essential services, jobs, education, and healthcare. We honor these transit agency heroes by publicizing all their hard work, taking the pledge to show our commitment to rural transit, and spreading awareness of Rural Transit Day and the importance of rural transit in our community.

In observance of Independence Day, VVTA Bus services will not operate on Thursday, July 4, 2024. Please make alternate plans for your transportation needs and we will return serving our customers on Friday, July 5.
