Victor Valley Transit Authority (VVTA) invites riders and members of the community to attend a public Town Hall on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at 3:30 p.m. at the Victor Valley Transportation Center, 16838 D Street, Victorville, CA 92395.
The Town Hall will allow the public to hear what’s happening at VVTA today, learn about upcoming plans and improvements, and meet directly with VVTA Operations department heads and leadership.
Just as importantly, the event will let riders and community members ask questions, share their experiences, and give feedback directly to the people responsible for VVTA’s day-to-day operations.
“Public transportation works best when we have an open line of communication with the people we serve,” said VVTA CEO, Rod Goldman. “This Town Hall allows us not only to share what is happening at VVTA and where we are headed, but more importantly, to listen. We want our passengers and community members to meet our team, ask questions, and have a meaningful conversation with the people who help keep the Victor Valley moving every day.”
The Town Hall comes during a period of significant activity for VVTA, including the introduction of new hydrogen fuel cell electric buses into passenger service, expanded transportation connections, continued investment in passenger information and technology, and ongoing efforts to improve mobility throughout the High Desert.
VVTA Board Chair Liz Becerra said, “Providing opportunities for direct community engagement is an important part of ensuring the agency continues to respond to the needs of the region.”
“VVTA is committed to the communities we serve, and hearing directly from our passengers and residents is essential to improving public transportation,” said Becerra. “This Town Hall is an opportunity to strengthen that connection. We want community members to learn more about what VVTA is doing, understand the services and resources available to them, and, most importantly, know that their questions, experiences, and ideas are valued as we plan for the future.”
Rather than a traditional presentation-only format, the event is designed to encourage conversation between the public and the staff responsible for planning, operating, and supporting VVTA services.
The VVTA Town Hall is open to the public and will begin at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at the Victor Valley Transportation Center, 16838 D Street, Victorville, CA 92395.
