Due to a planned Southern California Edison power outage for scheduled work in the area, VVTA’s Hesperia administrative offices and customer lobby will be closed on Thursday, October 29, 2026.

All VVTA transportation services will continue to operate as scheduled, with no service interruptions related to the power outage. However, during this period, telephone services are expected to be severely limited, potentially impacting normal communication and daily operations between the hours of 8:30am – 2:30pm.

Passengers who need to make a reservation for Direct Access or Micro-Link service are strongly encouraged to call 760-244-4000 by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 28.

If you are unable to reach Reservations on Thursday, October 29, please call 760-948-4021, ext 140 or email info@vvta.org and provide:

  • Your name
  • Your phone number
  • The service you are requesting (Direct Access or Micro-Link)

A VVTA representative will follow up regarding your reservation request.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the temporary office closure and appreciate your understanding while Southern California Edison completes its scheduled work.

Again, VVTA buses and transportation services will continue to operate normally on Thursday, October 29.
