Victor Valley College Students

VVTA accepts valid Victor Valley College (VVC) Associated Student Body (ASB) or VVC Photo ID cards as fare on all VVTA Fixed and County Route buses. VVC ID cards are valid as fare during the term (or semester) for which they were issued, which spans from the official term start date through the first week of the next term. Cards issued for the previous term are not valid as fare, unless a valid decal from the current term is attached. The VVTA Student ID does not and will not replace the VVC ID cards. The VVTA Student Photo ID is a discount fare identification card available to verified students throughout VVTA’s service area. The VVTA Student Photo ID does not replace the VVC ASB or Photo ID pass cards, which are exclusive to VVC students.

Cal State University San Bernardino Students

Ride the Howling Express.

CSUSB students, faculty, and staff are authorized to ride any Victor Valley Transit Fixed Route, County Route, and Route 15 service at no charge while utilizing their Coyote OneCard! Once obtained, the CSUSB Coyote OneCard will be your fare, validated for the term (or semester) for which it was issued. The span begins on the official term start date through the first week of the next term (or semester). Cards issued for the previous term (or semester) will be unaccepted.

CSUSB OneCard holders may use Route 15 to travel directly from the Victor Valley Transportation Center to the Cal State University Campus and are highly encouraged to return using the “Howling Xpress.” This line departs from CSUSB at 5:35 pm straight to VVTC.

All other pickups from CSUSB will continue regular Route 15, including the San Bernardino Transit Center and Metrolink stops. VVTA also covers all of the High Desert Cities, including Victorville, Hesperia, Apple Valley, Barstow, Adelanto, Phelan, Wrightwood, and more.

For complimentary service along VVTA’s service area, the rider must simply present their Coyote OneCard to the Bus Operator.
