Barstow Car Show Event – Friday & Saturday, October 9 & 10, 2026
Effective Friday, October 9 through Saturday, October 10, 2026, VVTA Route 1 will be on detour due to the Barstow Car Show.
The detour will be in effect from the beginning of service through the end of service on both days.

Passengers traveling on Route 1 should plan ahead and allow additional travel time during the Barstow Car Show. Please use caution when traveling near the event area and be prepared for temporary changes to normal bus service.
Regular Route 1 service is expected to resume following the conclusion of the detour.
