Victor Valley Transit Authority (VVTA) will not operate Bus Service on Friday, June 19, 2026, in observance of Juneteenth. Regular service hours will resume on Saturday, June 20th, 2026.
Juneteenth is a federal holiday that marks June 19, 1865, when news of emancipation reached Galveston, Texas, signifying an important milestone in American history. The day is observed nationwide as a time for reflection, education, and celebration of freedom and cultural heritage.
VVTA recognizes the importance of this day and wishes the community a meaningful Juneteenth.
