July 5, 2026 Service Changes
VVTA regularly evaluates and updates its services to better meet the needs of the communities we serve. As the Victor Valley and Barstow regions continue to grow and evolve, transit service must adapt to connect riders with the destinations that matter most.
These service improvements are designed to provide more efficient, reliable, and convenient transportation options by aligning routes with current travel patterns and areas of greatest demand. Our goal is to enhance the rider experience by creating stronger connections to popular destinations, improving route performance, and ensuring transit remains a practical and valuable transportation choice for our communities.
Beginning Sunday, July 5, VVTA will introduce several service improvements designed to provide more convenient connections and reliable service for our riders.
NEW: Route 15X Express Service to CSUSB
Students and commuters traveling between the High Desert and California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) now have a faster option.
The new Route 15X provides direct service between the Victor Valley Transportation Center (VVTC) and CSUSB, without continuing through San Bernardino or Fontana. This means less travel time and a more convenient trip to campus.
Weekday Schedule
+ Depart VVTC: 9:30 a.m. and 12:15 p.m.
+ Depart CSUSB: 10:50 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
Route 27 Updates
Route 27 has been adjusted to better serve the Barstow community.
Recent improvements include:
+ New service to Barstow Church of God in Christ with a new bus stop on Sage Drive.
+ Schedule adjustments to improve on-time performance
+ New time point stop added at Montara Road and Armory Road
Route 31 Wellness Center Shuttle
Getting to and from Wellness Center is now easier.
Route 31 will continue beyond the Victor Valley Transportation Center (VVTC) to provide shuttle service to the Victorville Wellness Center. After arriving at VVTC, the bus will travel to the Wellness Center and return to VVTC, allowing riders to conveniently connect with other VVTA routes.
This service is now a permanent feature on most trips and operates 7 days a week.
Route 114 Schedule Adjustments
To improve service reliability, weekday morning departure times on Route 114 have been adjusted. Weekday morning trips will be adjusted to depart Bear Valley Park and Ride at 4:32 am & 5:33 am, VVTC will depart at 4:44 am & 5:45 am.
