Victor Valley Transit Authority (VVTA) Route 32 bus stops on the east side of Village Drive at Rancho Road and on the west side of Village Drive at Grand Triassic Lane in Victorville will close due to construction beginning Thursday, December 3. The closure is schedule to remain in effect until Wednesday, December 16.
Victor Valley Transit Authority (VVTA) bus stops on 7th Street in Victorville will close for nine hours due to maintenance beginning 9 p.m., Friday, December 4. The closure affects VVTA Route 41 and 22 bus stops.
All Victor Valley Transit Authority (VVTA) routes serving Victor Valley College (VVC) will detour from start of service to noon Monday, November 30, due to a scheduled law enforcement active shooter training exercise. VVC Upper and Lower Campus bus stops will be inaccessible. Buses will use a temporary bus stop located on the south side of Francesca Road near Spring Valley Parkway.
Due to the 2015 Victorville Christmas Parade, Victor Valley Transit Authority Route 22, 41, and 51 will detour on Saturday, December 5, 2015 from approximately 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. During this time, the following bus stops will not be available and route adjustments will be in effect:
Due to road repaving, Victor Valley Transit Authority (VVTA) NTC Commuter route stops at Fort Irwin on Inner Loop Road will close Monday, November 23, 2015. All buses will use temporary stops on Barstow Road and Langford Lake Road, and Barstow Road and 3rd Street.
Due to road construction, Victor Valley Transit Authority (VVTA) Route 51 detours in Victorville from November 23 to December 21. The route detours on Del Rey Drive between Mojave Drive and Vallejo Street. VVTA Route 51 turns left on La Paz Drive and then right on Forrest Avenue. It continues its regular route thereafter.
Due to road construction, Victor Valley Transit Authority (VVTA) Route 46 will stop at VVTA Administration Officer only by request on November 17-18, due to road construction on E Avenue between Main Street and and Lemon Street. To request a stop, call (760) 244-4000.
Victor Valley Transit Authority (VVTA) or Barstow Area Transit (BAT) services will not be available in recognition of the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday, November 26, 2015. Unavailable services include customer service, routing and scheduling and all transit services. While the VVTA Administration Office will also be closed Friday, November 27, 2015, transit services will resume their regular schedules.
Due to the Veterans Day Parade and Freedom Mile Run on 7th Street in Victorville, Victor Valley Transit Authority Route 22 & Route 41 will detour Wednesday, November 11, 2015, 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Due to road construction in Apple Valley, Victor Valley Transit Authority Route 43 buses will detour on the Jess Ranch loop from October 19, to December 21, 2015.
Due to road construction on the Pyrite Avenue and Topaz Avenue loop in Hesperia, Victor Valley Transit Authority Route 44 buses will detour from October 19, 2015 to January 8, 2016. From westbound on Live Oak Street, VVTA Route 44 will turn left on Topaz Avenue and continue left on Main Street, a left on Maple Avenue, a right on Willow Street, and continue regular route. The following bus stops will not be accessible during this period: on Pyrite Avenue at Chestnut Street, eastbound on Live Oak Street at Topaz Avenue, eastbound on Live Oak Lane & Tamarisk Avenue, and eastbound on Willow Street at Maple Avenue.
Due to the Great California Shakeout Earthquake Drill taking place at Victor Valley College, all Victor Valley Transit Authority buses will not stop at campus stops on Thursday, October 15, 2015, between 9:15 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. During this time, all buses will use the temporary stop located on the north side of Francesca Road between Tamarisk Road and Spring Valley Lake Parkway.
Due to the Happy Trails Parade, all Victor Valley Transit Authority buses operating in Apple Valley will not service the Apple Valley Post Office on Saturday, October 17, 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. VVTA Routes 23, 40, 41, 43, and 47 will transfer at the Rite Aid on North Outer Hwy 18 at Navajo Road.
For better accessibility and passenger convenience, the Victor Valley Transit Authority Route 20 and 21 bus stop located on the north side of Phelan Road at Union Bank in Phelan will be relocated back to the south side of Phelan Road in front of the McDonald’s restaurant. This bus stop should be accessible to all passengers. No other bus stops will be affected by this change.
For better accessibility and passenger convenience, the Victor Valley Transit Authority Route 32 bus stop on the west side of Civic Drive, across from Victorville City Hall, will be relocated further south to the southwest corner of Civic Drive and Seneca Road, beginning Monday, October 12, 2015. This bus stop should be accessible to all passengers.
NTC Commuter morning buses at National Training Center/Fort Irwin will only stop at the first bus stop on Mates and South Depot Road tomorrow due to traffic restrictions associated with the 916th Support Brigade’s run. The evening return trip from Fort Irwin will operate as normal.
Due to the Victorville Fall Festival at Victorville City Hall on October 3, 2015, Victor Valley Transit Authority Route 32 will detour its route around Victorville City Hall on Civic Drive.
Due to low ridership and extreme cost of service, Barstow Area Transit / Victor Valley Transit Authority will discontinue Route 6 Fort Irwin Flyer (shopper bus service). The final day of service will be Thursday, September 24, 2015.
Due to construction on Interstate 15 at the Cajon Pass, Victor Valley Transit Authority Route 15 B-V Link passengers should expect service delays until construction completion, which is expected in the summer of 2016, according to CalTrans.
Hesperia, CA (August 14, 2015) – Victor Valley Transit Authority will launch the region’s first express route, providing non-stop bus service between Victor Valley College and the Victorville Transfer Hub at Costco. The service begins Monday and will feature three morning runs to VVC and three afternoon runs to Costco. The 45X Express Route will reduce passenger crowding and improve on-time performance for the popular 45 and 55 routes.
