Passengers using VVTA-issued Veteran, Senior, Disabled, Medicare, Student, and Direct Access discount ID cards will require replacement by the newly-designed VVTA Photo ID Cards, beginning Saturday, July 1, 2017. The old VVTA ID cards will become obsolete at that time.
Passengers may begin upgrading their existing IDs on Monday, April 3, 2017 at no additional charge. To begin the replacement process, visit VVTA Hesperia or VVTA Barstow, visit online at VVTA.org/pass, or contact VVTA by email at Info@VVTA.org.
To complete the replacement process, passengers must provide a photo copy of their valid government-issued ID, their photo, mailing address, email address, and applicable discount certification. For online application, photos should display the passenger from the shoulders up and may be taken with a mobile phone using its flash.
For questions, call VVTA Reception at (760) 948-4021 Ext. 123 or first dial 711 for telephone for the hearing impaired (TDD) service.
